5th Annual Summer Block Party at Village at Leesburg

LEESBURG, VA (July 17, 2014) – LEESBURG, VA (July 16, 2014) – The fifth annual Summer Block
Party on Saturday, July 26 from 3 – 8 p.m. at Village at Leesburg features non-stop music, carnival rides,
street entertainers, games and great food. Stroll through Village at Leesburg to enjoy Loudoun County’s
favorite summer event featuring American Idol’s Christian Lopez.

The Christian Lopez Band headlines the FREE music performances on the Main Stage at Fountain Court
at Village at Leesburg, located at the corner of Route 7 and Crosstrail Blvd in Leesburg:

3 p.m. Ted Garber – Blues Americana Rock
4:20 p.m. Newton’s Firnas – Pop Rock
5:40 p.m. MUDLARK – Rock & Blues
7 p.m. Christian Lopez Band – Folk Country Rock

Enjoy continuing music throughout Village at Leesburg including JT&T Performance Duo, Jessica and
Jerry Lynn, on the Plow & Hearth patio and DJ Brian Trace on the BurgerFi patio. Burger Fi and other
great eateries at Village at Leesburg will serve up dining and beverage specials with tasty microbrews and
other ales at Beer Gardens located at King Pinz and Finnegan’s. Top area food trucks including Roaming
Rotisserie, Mill’s Funnel Cakes, Doug The Food Dude, Good Grubbin’ and Reata BBQ will offer
specialty foods.

Families will enjoy free games and fun galore including a 26 foot rock climbing wall, carnival rides,
balloon artist, glitter tattoo artists and XTreme gaming truck. Cool off with splash-tastic activities --
water balloon battle and inflatables. Between band breaks in front of the Main Stage in Fountain Court,
watch ATA Elite Martial Arts demos at 4 p.m. and be amazed with the Unicycling Fire Juggler at 5:20
p.m. Get a FREE Village at Leesburg Flying Frisbee Disk at the event tent, while quantities last, to test
your skills during The Frisbee Guy performance near the main stage at 6:40 p.m.

About Christian Lopez Band

Christian Lopez Band (CLB) is pioneering their own brand of Alternative Folk Country Rock. Playing
since the age of five, Lopez formed and fronted the band Joe Taxi at the age of fifteen. The band quickly
garnered success including a slot on the 2012 "Van’s Warped Tour" and wins at the 2012 West Virginia
University Coca Cola, Moonstruck, OttoBar and 2013 Blue Ridge Music Festival Battle of the Bands
competitions. Lopez gained additional attention as a Hollywood Finalist in Seasons 11 and 12 of
“American Idol.” Christian joined by drummer Milk Silver, a longtime friend and superb young talent,
Bassist, Dominic Valentine, and vocalist and banjo player, Chelsea McBee deliver the band’s unique
brand of music. In addition to touring, Lopez and the band are currently at work on their debut release.
